Alafogiannis Ioannis & Company is located at No. 19 Kalasandesh, inside the Bharatkunk Society in Erandwana. It’s a bit of a mouthful of a name, but we’ve been using it for years. We’re situated in a residential part of Erandwana, so it’s relatively calm compared to the main roads. Our office is part of the society, which gives it a more personal feel. We do a variety of business activities from here, mostly involving paperwork and meetings. The office isn't very large, just enough for a few desks and a place to sit and talk. We don’t have a big glass storefront or a lot of employees running around. It’s a small, family-style operation. Most of our day is spent on the phone or working on the computer. Erandwana is a good place to be because it’s central but the Bharatkunk Society stays a bit tucked away from the heaviest traffic. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside, and you can hear them through the windows. We don’t go in for big mission statements or fancy branding. We just do our work and try to keep things moving. We’ve known some of our clients for a long time, and they usually just drop by for a coffee and to discuss business. It’s a low-key environment where we focus on the tasks at hand. The building is an older style, typical for this part of Pune, but it suits what we do just fine. We like the quiet pace here.
