Al Burhan Frames & Glass is located over on M G Road, right on the 2nd Main Road in the 8th Block. Our shop number is 1184. It's a bit crowded in here because of all the glass sheets and wooden frame moldings leaning against the walls. We do a lot of custom framing for pictures and mirrors. Cutting glass is a tricky job, and we’ve all had our share of small nicks on our hands over the years. It’s part of the trade. We have a big table in the back where all the assembly happens. You’ll usually hear the sound of a saw or the clinking of glass being moved. People bring in everything from old family photos to big paintings they bought on vacation. We just look at what they have and suggest a frame that won't fall apart. We aren't designers, just people who know how to put a frame together so it stays straight on the wall. The shop smells like sawdust and glue most of the time. We’ve been in this 8th Block spot for years, and we know most of the other shop owners nearby. If you need a piece of glass replaced for a window or a frame for a graduation certificate, that’s what we do. It’s not fancy, but we take care with the measurements.
