Space Power Consulting Engineers

We are over at the Jai Ganesh Vision building in Akurdi. Our unit is on the F wing, number 19. It’s a busy building with a lot of different offices, so there’s always people moving around the corridors. At Space Power Consulting Engineers, we spend most of our time looking at technical drawings and calculating loads. It’s a lot of desk work, but we also have to go out to sites quite often. Akurdi is a good spot for us because it’s close to a lot of the industrial areas where our projects are located. The office is usually filled with the sound of computers humming and the occasional argument over a design detail. We have large tables for laying out big blueprints, and they are usually covered in coffee mugs and pens. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. We don’t really do fancy presentations. Usually, it’s just us sitting down with a client and going over the numbers until they make sense. The elevators in the building can be slow, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. There’s a good mix of experienced heads and younger guys here, which makes for some interesting lunch conversations. We just focus on getting the engineering right so that things actually work when they get built. It’s a pretty standard routine of work, site visits, and more work.
