You can find us in Akurdi at Flat No. 1 in Sukhwani Vihar. We are located in Vivek Nagar, which is very close to the Akurdi Post Office. Being near the post office makes it easy to give directions to people who are coming to see us for the first time. We are a trading business, so our flat is often full of boxes and various goods we are moving. It is not a pretty shop with glass displays. It is more of a warehouse and office combined into one small space on the ground floor. We deal with a lot of different items and our stock changes depending on what is available and what people are asking for. The street outside can get very congested with people going to the post office or the nearby shops, but we have gotten used to the noise over the years. We have a small table where we do our accounts and handle the cash. It is a family-run business and we don't have a lot of employees. Usually, it is just one or two of us here. We know the other shopkeepers in Akurdi and often stop to chat with them about the weather or local news. Our walls are a bit dusty from all the boxes, but we know where everything is kept. It is a simple life and a simple business, focused on getting goods from one place to another.
