Akshaymarg Foundation

You can find us in Narayan Peth, which is right in the heart of Pune. We are in the Akshay Chambers building on Kelkar Road. The office is F-12. If you know Pune, you know how crowded Narayan Peth can get. Finding a parking spot near 216 Narayan Peth is almost impossible most days. We usually just walk or take a two-wheeler. Our office is a bit cramped because we have so many books and papers everywhere. It’s an old building, so the walls are thick and it stays relatively cool even when it’s hot outside. We don’t have a big corporate team. It’s just us. We drink a lot of tea and spend our time working through whatever needs to be done. There is no dress code here. We just wear what is comfortable and get to work. The street noise from Kelkar Road is constant, but after a few weeks, you stop hearing the horns. We don’t have a website guy or a marketing person. We just do our thing and people seem to find us. Akshaymarg Foundation has been in this building for a long time. The elevator is a bit temperamental, so we often take the stairs. It’s good exercise anyway. We like being in this part of town because everything is close by. It’s a simple setup, but it’s our home and it serves us well for what we do.
