Akshay Microprocessors

We’re tucked away on Karve Road, right beside Lagu Bandhu Motiwale at Santa Ram Chawl. It’s a busy stretch of road, always cars and bikes zooming past. Inside the shop, it’s a bit quieter. We deal with microprocessors and related electronic components. It’s small-scale stuff, very detailed. My eyes get tired sometimes from looking at all the tiny pins and circuits. The space isn’t very big, so we have to be smart about how we stack the boxes. We’ve been at this 41459 address for a while. People usually find us because they’re looking for a specific part they can’t find elsewhere. It’s not a shiny showroom. There are tools on the benches and half-finished projects here and there. I usually have a radio playing low in the corner just for some noise. Being next to a well-known place like Lagu Bandhu helps people find the chawl. We get students from the nearby colleges sometimes, looking for bits for their projects. We also help out local repair guys who need a particular chip. It’s honest work. We don’t have a big sales team or anything, just me and a couple of others. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going. The neighborhood has changed, but Karve Road always stays busy. We just keep doing our thing, one component at a time, making sure the inventory is right and the customers get what they came for without any fuss.
