A.K. Creation

Down in Wanwadi, at Jambhulkar Chowk, you can find A.K. Creation right near the local sports ground. Being near the ground means we hear a lot of shouting and whistles during the day, especially on weekends when there are matches. Our shop in Vikas Nagar is where we do all our work, though it’s mostly just us sitting around a table covered in paper and tools. We don't have a fancy interior with air conditioning; we just keep the door open and let the breeze in. The walls are mostly bare except for some old samples we made years ago that are now gathering dust. We handle a lot of small jobs for people in the neighborhood, like making cards or small displays. It’s the kind of place where people feel okay just dropping in to chat about an idea they had. We usually have a bit of a backlog of work, so there are always half-finished projects sitting on the shelves. The floor needs a good sweep most days because of all the paper scraps, but we usually leave that for the end of the day when we are tired. It isn't a high-pressure environment. We just work at our own speed and make sure things look the way they should before they go out. Sometimes we go over to the sports ground for a break when things get too busy. It’s a nice little corner of the world to work in.
