My office is over at Borate Sankul, right across from the Yashwantrao Chavan Natyagruha on Karve Road in Kothrud. It’s a very well-known part of town because of the theater, so it’s easy for people to pinpoint where I am. I’ve been working out of this Kothrud location for quite some time now. The building is a typical commercial structure, and my space is pretty simple inside. I don’t go in for big decorations or fancy furniture. It’s mostly just a desk, some filing cabinets, and a few chairs for when people come to visit. Since it’s right on Karve Road, you can always hear the hustle and bustle of the traffic outside the window. It’s a busy area, but I like the energy of it. I usually spend my mornings getting through paperwork or taking calls from people I know. Sometimes people drop in after seeing a show at the Natyagruha or just because they were passing by on their way through Kothrud. It’s a very local feel here. I handle my business in a straightforward way, without any of the corporate talk you might find in a big city firm. It’s just a regular office where I put in my time and help out the people who come through the door with whatever they need. There is no big sign or flashing lights, just a quiet place where I get to work every morning.
