Airstate Logistics is based out of Mangalwar Peth, located at 16/428. We are right in the thick of things here, which is helpful when you are trying to move goods across the city or further away. The office is usually stacked with waybills and manifest sheets, and there is always someone checking a clock. Logistics is basically just a giant puzzle of timing and transport. We deal with the freight side of things, making sure that what leaves one point actually arrives at the other without getting lost or damaged. It’s a lot of phone calls to drivers and warehouse managers. The area around our office is always busy with small tempos and trucks trying to navigate the narrow lanes. It can be a bit of a headache during peak hours, but that is the nature of working in an old part of the city. We have a small team here who have been doing this for a while, so we know the shortcuts and the common problems that pop up with shipments. We don’t try to make it sound like we are doing anything magical; it is just hard work and keeping track of details. If a shipment is late, we find out why and let the people know.
