Ahsan Welfare Foundation

Ahsan Welfare Foundation is located at Survey Number 20/4/1 in Ambegaon Budruk, Pune. We are right near Sagar Film, which is the easiest landmark to give people. The area is a bit on the edge of the city, so it’s got a mix of buildings and open spaces. Our office is a very simple setup. It’s just one room with a few chairs and a table where we handle all our affairs. We don't have a big staff or any fancy equipment. It’s mostly just us and a few volunteers from the neighborhood. We spend our time looking into welfare issues for the people around here. Sometimes that means helping a family with food or looking into local repairs. The road outside can get quite muddy when it rains, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the floor. We don't have a website or a social media manager. Most people find us by word of mouth. Someone tells a neighbor about us, and they just walk in. We try to keep things as straightforward as possible. No long forms to fill out or complicated rules. If someone needs help and we can do it, we just do it. It’s a lot of grassroots work. We often stay late into the evening talking to folks who stop by after work. It’s a humble way of doing things, but it’s what we know. We aren't trying to be a big deal, just a helpful neighbor in Ambegaon who listens.
