Aher Sales Corporation is tucked away at 309 Shukrawar Peth. If you know the Peth areas, you know how crowded and narrow the streets can be. We’ve been here for years, dealing with sales and distribution. The building is one of those old ones that has been around forever, and our space is filled with stacks of inventory. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the boxes piled up. We spend most of our time on the phone or talking to vendors who come through the Peth. Shukrawar Peth has a very specific energy, always moving and always loud. We don't have a modern office with glass walls; it’s more about wooden partitions and old ceiling fans. We grew up around this kind of business environment, so the chaos feels normal to us. We just handle the orders and make sure the deliveries go out to the right places. Sometimes the traffic is so bad that the trucks can't get close, so we have to move stuff by hand or on small carts. It’s hard work, especially in the heat, but that’s just part of being in this location. We don’t do much in the way of marketing. People just know Aher Sales is here at 309, and they come to us when they need something. We just keep our heads down and get the boxes moved.
