Adr Axles India Pvt Ltd is located at Gat No 512 in the village of Kasar Amboli, which is under the Mulshi Taluka. It’s a bit of a drive out from the main city areas, situated in a more rural, industrial setting. The surroundings are quite different from a city office; you see fields and open spaces before you get to the industrial plots. We make axles here, so the workshop is the heart of the place. It’s loud, it’s hot, and there is always some kind of welding or grinding going on. We have a lot of heavy machinery and steel parts lying around. The workers here are mostly from the local villages or they travel from the outskirts of Pune. It’s a tough job working with heavy metal components all day. The weather in Mulshi can be quite beautiful, especially during the monsoon, but the rain also makes the unpaved parts of the industrial area quite muddy and hard to drive through. We don’t have a lot of visitors out here, mostly just transport trucks picking up the finished axles to take them to the vehicle manufacturers. It’s a basic setup—office on one side and the shop floor on the other. We focus on the quality of the steel and the precision of the fit for every axle. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place where we value hard work and get things done properly.
