Adico Forge Pvt. Ltd. is out in Sanaswadi, at Gat No 1088 and 1091 in Taluka Sirur. It’s a bit of a journey to get out here, but this is where the real work happens. Forging is a tough business. It’s hot, it’s loud, and you’re always around heavy metal and big hammers. We don’t wear suits here. It’s all work clothes and safety gear. The area is very industrial, so you’re surrounded by other factories and trucks constantly moving in and out. The sun can get really hot in Sirur, which makes the forge even hotter. We just drink a lot of water and keep the fans going. We have been at these plots for a while now. The team is mostly local guys who don't mind getting their hands dirty. We don't spend much time on fancy talk. If a piece of metal needs shaping, we shape it. That’s the core of it. The office part is just a small room where we keep the logs and the delivery notes. It’s dusty and there’s always a bit of grease on the door handles. We don’t mind it much because it shows we’re actually working. We just focus on getting the orders ready for the trucks that come by in the evening. It’s a long day, but it feels good to see the finished parts stacked up.
