Action Earth Foundation

We are situated in Wadgaon Budruk in Pune, specifically at Survey Number 48 in Charwad Wasti. Our place is right near the Mahalaxmi Flour Mill. If you are from Pune, you probably know how busy these local areas can be. Action Earth Foundation isn't a massive international NGO or anything like that. We are just a small group of people working out of a modest space near the mill. The sound of the machinery and the traffic is something we have gotten used to over the years. We started this because we felt like we could do something for the environment right here in our own backyard. It is not always easy and we spend a lot of our time doing manual labor or talking to our neighbors about small changes they can make. We don't have a corporate office with air conditioning or fancy furniture. It is just a practical space where we keep our tools and our records. Most of us have lived in Wadgaon for a long time, so we care about what happens to this land. We don't use big words or marketing slogans to describe ourselves. We just try to stay busy and do things that actually matter on the ground. It is a bit messy and imperfect, but it is real work done by real people who live here. We don't expect things to change overnight, so we just keep at it every single day.
