Access For Change Initiative Foundation

You can find us in Borivali West at Astavinayak Nagar. We are in the Riddhi Siddhi building on Gorai Road, specifically in room E 304. Being in Mumbai means we are always surrounded by people and noise, but Gorai Road has its own specific vibe. Access For Change Initiative Foundation is really just our small team working out of this apartment. We have been here for a while now and we have seen the area change quite a bit. We are not a large corporation with multiple branches or a big budget. We just have a few desks and a lot of folders. We started this because we saw things in the city that we thought we could help with. Some days we are just sitting here answering phones and other days we are out on the street. It is not always glamorous and the traffic in Borivali can be a real headache. We don’t have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just look at what needs to be done and we try to do it. It’s a very local way of working. Most of our neighbors know us and stop by to chat sometimes. We are just regular people trying to be useful in our corner of Mumbai. It’s a lot of work but it feels right to do it. We try not to overcomplicate things and just focus on what is right in front of us every day.
