ACA Architects

If you know the Old Mundhwa Road area, you probably know how much it has changed lately. ACA Architects is tucked away in Spring Glory, specifically at A-2, 124 Kharadi Khetwadi. It’s not a huge place, but it serves us well for what we do. Most days, the tables are covered in sketches and site maps. We deal with all sorts of local projects around Pune, and being in Kharadi makes it easy to get around to different sites. It’s a bit of a trek sometimes with the traffic, but that’s just part of the job. Inside the office, things are usually a bit informal. We don't wear suits or have big meetings in glass boardrooms. It’s more about drinking tea and staring at a computer screen or a piece of paper until the design makes sense. We’ve been here long enough that the local shopkeepers know us. The work itself can be tedious, checking every single line and measurement, but it’s what we do. We don't try to make it sound more exciting than it is. Architecture is mostly just a lot of problem-solving and making sure the stairs aren't too steep. We like being in this part of town because it feels real and grounded. There is always a new building going up nearby, which keeps us busy thinking about our own next project. It is just a normal office where people work hard and try to get things right.
