Abhyutthan Bharat Welfare Foundation

Abhyutthan Bharat Welfare Foundation is set up in Airoli, specifically in Sector 16. We are in Building Number 6, Tenement 16 in the AL-5 block. This part of Navi Mumbai, near Rabale, is a mix of residential and industrial zones. Our office is a small tenement, so it’s quite compact. There isn't a lot of extra space, but we’ve managed to fit in our computers and a few chairs for meetings. It’s a very grounded place to work. You can hear the neighbors and the local street sounds all day long. We don't have a big budget for decorations or fancy furniture. We just have the basics. Most of us live in Thane or Navi Mumbai and take the local train or a bus to get here. The Sector 16 area is pretty convenient because there are plenty of small shops nearby if we need supplies. We aren't some polished organization with a PR team. We’re just a group of people trying to do some welfare work from this little room. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually have a couple of fans going full speed. We spend our time talking to people from the area and seeing where we can lend a hand. It’s straightforward work without any fluff. We just show up, do what needs to be done, and head home. That is pretty much how it goes here in Airoli. We hope to stay here for a long time. It’s a good little spot and the rent isn't too high for us.
