Aayudhik Foundation

We’re located in the heart of old Pune, specifically in Sadashiv Peth. Aayudhik Foundation operates out of Swapnagadha Apartment at number 1620. We are tucked away on Gopal Gayan Samaj Lane. If you know this part of the city, you know how narrow the lanes are and how tricky parking can be. It’s a very traditional neighborhood. Our office is just a regular apartment space. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it suits us just fine. We have some wooden chairs and a couple of old computers that we use for everything. There is always the sound of scooters passing by outside. Being in Sadashiv Peth means we are close to everything, which is handy. Most of the people working here have lived in Pune their whole lives. We aren't trying to be some big international organization. We’re just local folks who wanted to start something meaningful. Some days we spend more time talking to neighbors than doing paperwork. It’s just how it is here. The Gopal Gayan Samaj is a landmark nearby that helps people find us. We don't have a big sign outside or anything. Just a small plate on the door. It’s a quiet place to work most of the time, except when the festivals are on. Then the whole lane is full of music and people. We just keep our heads down and do our bit from this little spot in the Peth. The chai here is good too. We spend a lot of time just listening to what people have to say about the neighborhood.
