Our place is over at Basant Bahar, specifically room number 203. It sits right on the Baner-Pashan Link Road. If you are driving towards Pashan, you probably pass it all the time. The building is easy to spot, but our office is up a few stairs. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main road noise. We spend our days dealing with various jewelry pieces and talking to suppliers. The room is usually filled with small boxes and tools on the desks. Sometimes we lose track of time because the window doesn't show much of the street. It’s mostly just us working on the inventory. We have a small table where we keep the records. It gets a bit cramped when too many people show up at once, but we make it work. The Pashan area has changed a lot since we first got here. There are more shops and cars now. We remember when it was much emptier. Now, there is always someone walking by on the Link Road. We keep our door open during the day to let some air in. It isn't a massive showroom with bright lights and mirrors everywhere. It's more of a functional space where the actual work happens. We handle the gold and stones with care, making sure everything is where it should be before we close up for the night. Just a normal business day in unit 203 for us.
