We've been here in Bhawani Peth for quite some time now. You can find us right under where the old Syndicate Bank used to be, near Bohra Masjid. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, but we’re still at 158. It’s a busy spot, mostly people coming and going for daily business. We handle a lot of different things here at A. K. Bhavnagarwala & Co. It’s mostly regular work, the kind of stuff you do day in and day out. We don't have a big fancy office. Just the shop floor and some space to store what we need. It gets a bit crowded sometimes with the inventory, but that’s how it goes in this part of town. Most of us have worked here for years. We know the regulars by name and they know where to find us if there’s a problem. It’s not a complicated setup. We just open up in the morning, get through the orders, and head home. Sometimes the street gets blocked up with trucks, so getting stuff in and out takes a bit longer than we’d like. But we make it work. It’s just how things are done here. There’s always someone around to answer a question if you drop by. We don’t spend much time on computers unless we have to. Most of our work happens right here on the ground. We just keep the business going as best we can. It's a living.
