3A Road Safety Foundation

Our little office is located at Shop No. 2 in Continental Park, which is right near the petrol pump in Kothrud. If you live in Pune, you probably know how the traffic can be around here, especially during the rush hours. We spend a lot of our time thinking about the roads because we see what happens right outside our door every day. The shop isn’t huge, but it serves our needs for the 3A Road Safety Foundation. We have a couple of computers and a lot of files stacked up. It’s a very normal Pune setup, nothing too shiny or corporate. We usually have someone here from morning until evening. Sometimes we get distracted talking to the neighbors or the people who work at the pump next door. We aren’t trying to be some giant organization; we just want to help out where we can in our own city. Kothrud is a busy place with a lot of students and families, so there is always something happening. We like being in this part of town because it feels like the heart of the community. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that writing for us. It’s just us, the staff, sitting in the shop and trying to make things a bit better on the streets. Most days are pretty quiet, but we keep ourselves busy with the paperwork and local planning. We hope to stay here for a long time.
