Our office for Voice Tv is located in Pulwama Town, right opposite the DC Office on N.H- 1. Being right on the national highway means we see the whole world passing by our front door every day. It’s a strategic spot, and since we are across from the DC office, there is always something happening nearby. Our space is filled with cameras, tripods, and a lot of tangled cables that we are always trying to organize. It’s a bit of a squeeze when the whole team is in at the same time, but we manage. We aren't a big national network with fancy studios. We are just local people trying to keep track of what’s going on in our own town. The noise from N.H- 1 is constant, so we’ve had to get used to the sound of horns and engines in the background while we work. People from the town often drop by to tell us about something happening in their neighborhood or just to complain about the local roads. We listen to everyone and try to keep our ears to the ground. There’s no big corporate hierarchy here; we all just pitch in and do whatever needs to be done, whether it's editing a clip or fixing a light. We don't have a polished script for how we run things. We just take it as it comes, day by day, right here in the heart of Pulwama.
