District Hospital

This is the District Hospital right here in Pulwama. It is the main spot people go to when they have a health problem. We have been sitting in this part of Pulwama for a long time, and the building shows its age a little bit. It is a sturdy place, though. We don't try to look like a hotel or anything like that. It is just a hospital with wards and exam rooms. We have a lot of people coming in from all over the district every single day. The morning time is usually the busiest. You will see a lot of families waiting out front before the doors even open. We do our best to get through the line, but sometimes it takes a while. The staff lives in the area too, so we are all neighbors. We don't have any fancy slogans. We just provide the basic medical care that a town like Pulwama needs. The hallways can be a bit dark and the air smells like disinfectant, which is what you expect from a place like this. We handle emergencies and regular checkups without much fuss. It is a tough job sometimes because there are so many people to see, but we just keep at it. We are not a corporate chain, just a local hospital doing what we can for the community. It is a simple operation and we like it that way.
