Delko Media Llp

Our office is right at Machpuna Junction on Circular Road in Washbugh, Pulwama. Specifically, we're in shops one through five, which used to be just empty spaces before we moved in. Delko Media Llp is a small operation, and having these shops right on the junction makes it easy for people to find us. Muneeb Farooq is the one who helped get this all set up. Pulwama is a place where everyone kind of knows everyone, so we see a lot of familiar faces passing by the window. The shops are joined together so we have enough room for all our equipment and a few chairs for visitors. It gets a bit noisy sometimes because of the traffic on Circular Road, but you get used to it after a week or two. We do a lot of media work, which means we're usually staring at screens for hours. It’s not glamorous, but it pays the bills. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you walk in, whoever is closest to the door will probably look up and see what you need. We try to keep things simple and honest. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of living and working here in Jammu & Kashmir. We’re just local people trying to make a go of this business. It's a lot of hard work, but we like being part of the community here.
