You can find Anzhar Constructions over in Kandi Pora, which is part of the Bijbehara area in Anantnag. We have been working in this part of Srinagar and Anantnag for quite some time now. Most of our days are spent out on the road, moving between different job sites. Construction is one of those things where you’re always fighting against time or the weather. We have our small base in Kandi Pora where we keep our equipment and the few trucks we own. It’s a local operation through and through. We don’t have a big marketing budget or people in suits. Most of the time, I’m in my boots and a dusty jacket, just like the rest of the crew. We take on all sorts of building projects, from small walls to larger house frames. Dealing with the logistics of getting cement and sand out to some of the more tucked-away spots in Bijbehara can be a real challenge, but we manage to get it done one way or another. We don't pretend to be anything we aren't. We just provide labor and management for building stuff. Sometimes things go wrong, a machine breaks or a worker gets sick, and we just have to figure it out as we go. That’s just the nature of construction work in this part of the country. It’s about being stubborn and showing up every morning to do the hard work.
