We operate out of Turka Batapora, right at the place of Haji Ab Khaliq Bhat. Al-Haram Hr Services is a small operation, mostly focused on helping people find work or helping businesses find the right person for a job. It is simple human resources stuff, but without the corporate feel you get in the big cities. We know the people around here, and we know the kind of work they are looking for. It’s a lot of sitting around the table, looking at applications, and making phone calls. Sometimes it’s frustrating when the right match doesn’t happen immediately, but we keep at it. The office is part of a local building, so it feels very much like a part of the community. We don’t have a fancy website or a huge marketing budget. Most of our business comes through word of mouth from people who have worked with us before. Haji Ab Khaliq Bhat is a name people recognize, so that helps folks find us. We handle the paperwork, check the references, and try to make sure everyone is treated fairly. It’s not always easy, especially when the job market is tight, but we do our part. You’ll find us there most days, drinking tea and going through files. It is just a practical way to help folks earn a living. We aren’t trying to be anything we’re not.
