Our place is in Pulasseri, right near the Janlaxmi Bank, which makes it easy for people to find us. We keep a variety of things for the home, from hardware supplies to some general items people need for their houses. The shop has shelves reaching up to the ceiling, so we often have to use a ladder to get things down for customers. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the different sections for tools, paints, and fittings. We spend a lot of the day helping people figure out what size bolt they need or which pipe will fit their sink. The floor is concrete and can get a bit dusty from the cement bags we keep in the corner. We don’t have any fancy displays; it’s just the items stacked where they fit. When the weather is nice, we keep the front door wide open, and we can see the people going in and out of the bank across the way. It’s a steady pace of work, and we like talking to the locals who come in for a chat while they shop. Sometimes we get a bit behind on the stocking up, so you might see crates sitting in the aisles for a while. It’s just a practical home center where we try to keep the basic stuff people in Pulasseri need for their daily repairs.
