It is mostly tiled floors and wooden desks that have been around for years. We spend our time working on construction plans for various projects. Keela Raja Veethi is a busy street so there is always something to see out the window. People are going to the shops and bikes are zipping past. We have been part of this community for some time now. Most of the people who work here grew up nearby. We take our work seriously but we do not feel the need to dress it up in marketing talk. If a wall needs building, we build it. If a road needs fixing, we handle that too. It is just about being practical and getting the job finished. We have a lot of conversations over tea in the office about how to solve problems at the site. It is a slow and steady kind of life here in Pudukkottai.
