You can find Sree Kavi Cool Bar at 483, Ulkadai Street in Karambakkudi. It’s a small place on a street that gets quite busy during the market hours. We’ve been here at this address for a long time, and the building has definitely aged with us. We aren't a big fancy cafe; we are just a cool bar where people come for a quick drink or a snack to beat the heat. The street outside is narrow, so it can get pretty crowded with people walking and bikes parked everywhere. We have a few stools for people to sit on, but most folks just stand around and talk. It’s a very local vibe here. We know most of our customers by their first names because they live just a few houses down. We don't use any high-tech gadgets to run the place. Everything is done by hand, from mixing the drinks to keeping the accounts in a simple notebook. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the fan makes a bit of noise, but it keeps the air moving. Karambakkudi is a small town, and Ulkadai Street is right in the heart of things. We open up in the morning and stay until the last customer leaves in the evening. It’s not an easy job, but it’s what we know. We just focus on serving the people who walk in every day.
