Senthur Lotus Garments (Opc) Private Limited

Down here on 1st Street in Adappanvayal, things stay pretty steady at Senthur Lotus Garments. We are based in Pudukkottai, which is a place we really like being in. Our setup is at 41/2, right in the heart of the local area. It’s an OPC, which means it’s a bit of a smaller operation, but that suits us just fine. We don't have hundreds of people running around. It’s mostly just a few of us who know how to handle a needle and thread. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we can stack our materials and set up the tables for cutting. Sometimes the humidity in Tamil Nadu makes the fabric act funny, so we have to be careful with how we store things. We spend a lot of time just checking the edges and making sure nothing is fraying. It’s honest work and it keeps us out of trouble. We’ve been on this street for a bit and the neighbors know us. They see the deliveries coming and going throughout the week. We don’t really have a big plan for world transition or anything, we just want to make sure the clothes we finish today are as good as the ones we did yesterday. It's a lot of repetitive work, but when you see a finished pile of shirts ready to go, it feels okay.
