Ramu Creations

You can find Ramu Creations at 1/1 4th Street in Tsk Nagar. We are part of the Maragatham Layout area which sits right off Dharapuram Road in Tiruppur. This town is always moving because of the garment industry and our street is no different. You can hear the sound of machines from almost every building around here. Our workspace is pretty basic. We have the cutting tables set up near the front where the light is better. The walls are covered in patterns and notes we’ve scribbled over the months. It’s not a quiet place to work but we are used to the hum of the fans and the noise from the street. We spend most of our time looking at fabric and making sure the stitching is okay. We aren't a huge factory. It’s a small operation where everyone knows what their job is. Sometimes we run out of space when a lot of material arrives at once and we have to stack things up in the hallway. Dharapuram Road is always busy with trucks and bikes, so getting things delivered can be a bit of a headache during peak hours. We usually eat our lunch together at the big table in the middle of the room. It feels more like a workshop than a business office. We just focus on getting the pieces finished and out the door on time without any fancy talk.
