Lohit Apparel

We are located out on Dharapuram Road in Tiruppur. If you’re heading towards Pudhur Pirivu, you’ll find us at No. 58/1. Tiruppur is all about clothes, and Lohit Apparel is part of that. The building isn't very new, and we have machines running most of the day. It’s noisy and there’s always lint in the air, but that’s the garment business for you. We mostly focus on making shirts and other apparel. It’s a lot of cutting, stitching, and packing. Most of the staff has been with us for a long time, so we know each other's families and stuff. We aren't a massive factory, just a decent-sized setup where we can keep an eye on everything. Sometimes the fabric comes in the wrong shade, and we have to figure it out with the dyers. That’s just part of the daily headache. The roads around here get pretty busy with trucks carrying cotton and finished boxes. We spend a lot of time on the floor making sure the stitching is straight. It’s not glamorous work. My brother handles the deliveries and I look after the production. We try to keep things simple and honest. We’ve had good years and bad years, like anyone else in this town. We just keep the needles moving and try to stay busy. It’s a living, and it keeps us occupied from morning till late evening. We are just a local garment unit trying to get the orders finished on time.
