You can find us at A11/31 on St. Thomas Road, over in Tendral Nagar. It’s a part of Maharaja Nagar that feels very local. We’ve been operating Nattar Exports And Imports from here for several years now. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular place where we keep our records and coordinate the transport. We have a small porch where we sit and talk to the transporters when they arrive. Usually, the morning is the busiest time because that’s when the calls start coming in. We handle both exports and imports, so there is always a mix of different tasks on the table. One day it’s textiles and the next it might be something completely different. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone like that. It’s mostly just a few of us making sure the logistics work out. The street can get a bit muddy during the monsoon, which makes loading the small trucks a bit of a challenge. We know the tea stall owner around the corner quite well, he brings us snacks in the afternoon. It’s a modest way of doing business, but it works for us and our families. We just focus on the daily tasks and try to keep things organized without making it too complicated. It’s just a normal office in a normal neighborhood.
