Our business, Navaneeth Herbals Agro Products, is located right on the ECR at 120 Manamelgudi. Being on the East Coast Road means we see a lot of traffic passing by, but we stay focused on our herbal and agro supplies inside. The air here has a bit of a salty tang because we’re near the coast. We keep our stocks of herbs and agricultural items in a shed that stays relatively cool. It’s not a high-tech facility, just a practical place to store and pack what we sell. We spend our mornings sorting through the latest arrivals from the farms. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late, which throws off our schedule, but that’s just how it is. We don’t have a flashy storefront. People usually come by because they know we have what they need for their crops or their personal use. The floors are concrete and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it serves us well. We’re mostly a group of locals working here. We know the seasons and how they affect the products we carry. It’s quiet work for the most part, punctuated by the sound of the road outside. We handle the sales and the packing ourselves. It’s a direct way of doing things. We’ve been at 120 Ecr for a while and have built a routine that works for us, day in and day out.
