MAI Skool

MAI Skool is right on the NH 226, that long stretch of highway that takes you from Thanjavur towards Manamadurai. If you know the Pudukkottai Ind Estate, we aren’t too far from there. The place is called Mai Skool Arena, and it’s basically where everything happens for us. Living and working out here in Pudukkottai means you get used to the sound of trucks and buses passing by all day. It’s a big open space, which is good because it gives everyone room to move. Sometimes the dust from the highway gets a bit much, especially when the wind picks up, but that’s just how it is in this part of the country. We aren't trying to be some high-end city school with glass walls and air conditioning everywhere. It’s more of a practical spot for the local kids and families. You’ll usually see someone sweeping the grounds or kids running around the arena area when they should probably be doing something else. It gets pretty hot during the middle of the day, so we try to keep things a bit quieter then. Most people around here know us because we’re right on that main road. It’s a simple setup, really. We just show up every morning, open the gates, and get on with the day’s work without making a big fuss about it. We have been here for a while now, and the routine of the highway traffic has just become a normal part of our background.
