Mahatma College

Mahatma College is situated on Annavasal Road in Pudukkottai. We’ve been here for a while, providing a place for students in this part of town to continue their studies after finishing school. The building is a familiar sight for anyone traveling along this road. It’s a straightforward setup where we have our classrooms and some office space for the staff. The location is convenient for locals since the 622001 area is central enough for most people to reach by bus or bike. You won't find anything overly grand here, just a regular college building that serves its purpose for the community. We see a lot of different faces every morning when the students arrive. Some walk from nearby streets while others come from further out in the district. The atmosphere is generally quiet during lecture hours, but the hallways get a bit crowded during the breaks. We do our best to keep the grounds tidy, though with so many people coming and going, there’s always something to fix or clean up. It’s a busy place, especially during exam season or when new admissions start. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations. Most of our focus goes into the daily schedule and making sure the classrooms are ready for use. Being on Annavasal Road makes us a part of the local daily life here in Pudukkottai, and we’re quite used to the rhythm of the neighborhood and the changing seasons of college life.
