Jayam Exports Tiruppur

We are based out of Thillai Nagar 2nd Street, just off Dharapuram Road here in Tiruppur. Jayam Exports has been operating from this spot for a while now. The building is tucked away a bit, but it’s a decent space for what we do. Most days are spent checking over batches of clothing before they get packed up. We have to be careful about the packing because those boxes go a long way. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting cartons and moving things around the floor. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It’s mostly just a workspace where we get things ready to go out. The street outside can get pretty cramped when a big truck comes to load up, and we sometimes have to shuffle things around to make room. We work with a few different local units to get the garments made, and then they all come here for the final stages. It’s a steady rhythm of checking, folding, and sealing boxes. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around for a bit, which can be frustrating when we have a deadline. But that’s just part of working in this part of town. We keep it simple and just focus on the task at hand. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy and we’ve gotten used to the daily routine over the years. We generally start work quite early before it gets too hot.
