AL-MUNAWARA ISLAMIC SCHOOL

Our school is tucked away on Neivasalpatty Road in Indhra Nagar. It's a quiet part of Sivapuram, which is nice for the kids. Being in Pudukkottai, we have a lot of local families coming to us. We’ve been running things here for a bit, focusing on Islamic education along with the usual school subjects. The building is simple, nothing too big or loud. You’ll see the kids playing outside when the weather is decent. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into the classrooms, but that's just how it is around here. We have teachers who live nearby and some who travel a bit further. It’s a community feel, really. We don’t have those big fancy gates you see in the cities. It’s more of a neighborhood place. Parents drop their kids off early, and things get busy around eight in the morning. We try to keep the classrooms tidy, though with children, that’s always a struggle. The office handles the admissions and the day-to-day stuff without much technology, just books and boards mostly. It’s about getting the basics right for the students. The walk from the main road isn't too long. Most people know the way to the school. We are just part of the local scenery in Sivapuram now. Life moves at a slower pace here than in the big towns, and we like it that way. We don't have any big plans to change things, just keeping the school going for the next group of children who come through.
