We’ve been at the Singapore Shopping Complex for quite a while now. Our shop is unit 3209 on East Main, and it’s a pretty busy spot most days. People usually come in when they're looking for something specific in gold or maybe just want to see what's new in the cases. It’s a straightforward kind of place. Usually, it's just us handling everything, from talking to the regulars who drop by to just keeping the glass clean. The mall gets a lot of foot traffic, especially on the weekends, which keeps us on our feet. Sometimes it’s quiet enough to catch up on paperwork, but other times we're helping three people at once. We keep the lights bright so you can actually see the details on the jewelry. It isn't a massive, fancy showroom, but we have enough variety to keep things interesting. Dealing with gold means being very careful with the small things. Most of our days are spent weighing items or showing different chains to people who can't quite make up their minds. We've seen a lot of families come through here over the years. It’s actually quite nice when someone brings their kids in because they bought their own wedding sets here a long time ago. That happens more than you’d expect. We don't bother with big ads. Word of mouth usually brings people to our door at 3209. If you’re walking through the complex, you’ll find us easily enough. We keep regular hours and just focus on the daily tasks.
