Valarmathi & Co is over at 40, Anna Salai. We are tucked away in Raja Rajeswari Nagar. It’s a pretty busy area most days. We’ve got a small team here, just a few of us really. The building is a bit old, but it does the job. We spend a lot of time on the phone or dealing with people who walk in off the street. Anna Salai always has something going on, so it’s never quiet. We don't have any big marketing budgets or social media teams. It's mostly just word of mouth that brings people to our door. Sometimes the parking out front is a nightmare, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We keep things pretty simple. There’s a desk, some chairs, and a lot of paperwork. We’ve been part of the community here for a while. We know the neighbors and the guy who runs the store next door. It’s a comfortable place to work, even if the air conditioning is a bit temperamental in the summer. We aren't trying to change the world. We just provide what people need and try to be honest about it. If we don’t have something, we’ll tell you. It’s a practical way to run a business. We show up, do the hours, and head home.
