U R Decorators

U R Decorators is based at No 28 on South Car Street in Villianur. We are quite close to the Villianur Police Station, which makes it very easy for anyone in Pondicherry to find us. This street is usually quite lively, especially during festival times when everyone is out in the streets. We spend our days surrounded by fabrics, lights, and all the bits and pieces that go into decorating for a function. It’s not a clean or tidy office; there are always piles of things everywhere, but we know where everything is kept. We’ve been doing this for a long time now. Most of our work comes from neighbors or people who saw what we did for someone else’s wedding or party. We don't have a big website or a social media manager to handle things. We just talk to people who walk in off the street. Sentence lengths vary because we’re often talking while carrying heavy poles or folding drapes. We don’t use words like elite or premier. We just say we’ll show up on time and put the decorations up as requested. Sometimes the rain messes with our outdoor setups, and we have to work twice as hard to fix it, but that’s just part of the job. It is hard work, but we like seeing the final result when a plain room turns into something special for a local family’s celebration. We just take it one event at a time and do our job well.
