Thomson Foam

Thomson Foam is based out of the Pipdic Industrial Estate in Metuplym. Our unit is B-124. It is a typical industrial setup where we work with foam all day long. The building is basically a large warehouse where we cut and store big blocks of foam. It is very quiet inside because the material absorbs all the sound, which is actually quite nice compared to other factories. We have a few machines for cutting, but a lot of the work is still done by hand to get the sizes right. The estate itself is quite large and can be a bit confusing to navigate if you aren't used to it. We have been here for years, so we know all the other business owners nearby. There isn't any fancy showroom here. If you come by, you will likely see us in our work clothes moving sheets of foam around. It is a dusty job, and we usually have foam bits stuck to our sweaters by the end of the day. We don't do much in the way of marketing. Most people find us because they need specific foam shapes for cushions or packing and someone told them we were here. We keep the overhead low and just focus on getting the pieces cut correctly. It is a straightforward business without any bells and whistles. We stay busy with the local orders and just keep the machines running.
