We are located out at RS 19/1A, 2A in Edayarpalayam Village. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city center, which makes it a quieter place to work. The facility is quite large and there's a lot of space for the different departments to do their thing. We have trucks coming in and out of the main gates all day long. Inside, the setup is very structured. There are long rows of benches and plenty of storage for all the computer parts and the finished boxes. Even though Lenovo is a large name, the atmosphere in this specific village branch is quite grounded and practical. Most of the people working here are from the local area or the nearby towns. We have a small canteen where everyone goes to eat lunch together during the break. The work can be a bit repetitive, especially when we are processing large batches of equipment, but we keep the pace steady. It’s a lot of checking serial numbers and making sure the labels are put on correctly. The weather out here in Edayarpalayam can be quite nice, though it gets very dusty during the dry months. We don't have many visitors at this site, as it’s mostly for production and logistics. We just focus on the daily numbers and making sure the shipments go out on time. It's a busy place with a lot of people.
