Tecnimont

You’ll find Tecnimont down on Vallalar Street in Karaikal. It’s a bit confusing because the building has two numbers, Old No 13 and New No 43, but once you find P.K. Salai, it’s easier to spot. We are right by the 3rd cross. Anyway, being here in Pondicherry Union Territory gives the place a certain feel that we really like. It’s a quiet enough area for the most part. The team here is small, just a few of us who’ve known each other for years. We don’t have a lot of rules or a corporate handbook. We just show up, see what needs doing, and get to it. The office is simple, nothing to brag about, but it’s our space. We spend a lot of time on Vallalar Street, so we see the same faces every day. It’s nice being part of a real neighborhood. Sometimes we have to explain the address to delivery people because of the old and new numbers, but they eventually find us. We don’t do any fancy marketing or anything. We figure if people need us, they know where the door is. It’s an honest living. Karaikal is a good place to be based, and we feel lucky to have this spot on the 3rd cross. We just keep our heads down and work. That’s how we’ve always done things at Tecnimont. It’s not for everyone, but it suits us just fine.
