SURYAVIZHUDHUGAL ENERGY SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED is based at No: 6 Annai Indira Gandhi Street. We are tucked away in Tagore Nagar, which is part of the Lawspet area in Pondicherry. The name of the company is a bit of a mouthful, we know that. People usually just call us by the first part. Our building is a standard house that’s been converted into an office space. It still feels a bit like a home, which is nice in a way. We have our desks set up in what used to be the living room. There is a small garden out front, though it’s mostly just some hardy shrubs and a lot of dry grass during the summer. We deal with energy solutions, so we have some equipment lying around the back sometimes. It’s not a shiny showroom; it’s more of a place where things get built or figured out. Lawspet is a decent neighborhood, and it’s relatively easy to get to from the main town. The street is usually pretty calm, except for when the school nearby lets out and the kids are everywhere. We don’t have much in the way of fancy tech in the office, just the basics like a printer that jams occasionally and some old wooden chairs. We usually eat our lunch together at the big table in the middle. It is a very normal, everyday kind of place to work. We just do our bit and keep the lights on.
