Surguru Spot

We are sitting right on Nehru Street at No 10. It’s a good spot in Pondicherry because we are so close to the Ashram and the Vinayagar Temple. You can hear the bells sometimes if the wind is right. Surguru Spot has been here for a bit now. It’s a busy street, lots of people walking by all the time, tourists and locals both. We have a simple setup inside. It’s not meant to be fancy or anything like that. We just provide a place for people to come in. The building itself is a bit old, like many things in this part of town, but it has its own character. We don't have a huge menu or a massive team. Just a few of us who know the regulars by name. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded, especially when there are festivals at the temple. We just try to keep up with the crowd then. The salt air from the sea sometimes makes things a bit worn out, but we do our best to keep it decent. People seem to find us easily enough since everyone knows Nehru Street. We aren't doing any big advertising. Word of mouth usually does the trick for us. We just open up in the morning and stay until we’re done for the day. It’s a simple life for us here in Pondicherry. We just keep doing what we know how to do without any extra fuss. It works for us.
