Sugam Acupuncture Clinic

We are located at number 80 on Sunnambukara Street in Karaikal. It is a fairly quiet street most of the time. The clinic is dedicated to acupuncture, so it is a bit different from your standard doctor's office. When you walk in, you will notice it is quite still. We have a few treatment tables set up with curtains for privacy. The smell of incense or dried herbs is often in the air. We have been here in Karaikal for a good while. Most people find out about us through word of mouth from their neighbors. It is a small place, so we don't have a big reception team. Usually, you just come in and wait your turn on the wooden bench out front. We spend a lot of time with each person because that is just how this work goes. It isn't something you can rush through in five minutes. The street outside has some small shops and houses, so it feels very much like a part of the local community. Sometimes we have to step outside to get some fresh air between sessions. We keep our needles and tools organized in small metal trays. It is a simple way of doing things, but it has worked for us and the people who visit. Nothing too fancy, just a plain room on a regular street where we try to help people feel a bit better.
