Sri Rexine House

You can find Sri Rexine House over at 149 Thiruvalluvar Salai in the Pillaithottam area. It’s a busy street, and we’ve been part of it for a good while now. We deal mostly with rexine and related materials for various uses. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside, just a regular storefront with plenty of rolls of material stacked up inside. We spend a lot of time cutting fabric to size and talking to customers about what they’re trying to fix or make. It’s a hands-on kind of job. The Pillaithottam neighborhood is quite active, so there’s always something happening right outside our door. We don’t have a big team or a corporate office; it’s just us here doing the day-to-day work. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty from all the materials, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. We aren't interested in using big words or making grand promises. We just like to provide what people are looking for without any fuss. People come in with all sorts of projects, from old chair seats to car interiors. We just listen to what they need and see what we can do to help. The days go by pretty fast when you're busy with your hands. We like being on Thiruvalluvar Salai because it’s easy for folks to stop by while they’re out doing their other errands.
