If you drive down West Pondy Road in Villupuram, you’ll find us at number 54F. It’s a pretty active part of town, so things stay lively throughout the day. The school building has been part of this neighborhood for a long time. We have kids coming in from all different parts of Villupuram, some arriving by bus and others getting dropped off on two-wheelers. Inside the gates, it’s a mix of different ages since we go up through the matriculation levels. The hallways are usually a bit cluttered with bags and shoes, and there is always a teacher somewhere telling a group of students to keep the noise down. We have classrooms that feel lived-in, with maps on the walls and stacks of notebooks on the desks. During the rainy season, the road outside gets a bit messy, but the kids don't seem to mind much. We try to keep a steady routine from the first bell in the morning until the final one in the afternoon. It’s not a fancy place with high-tech gadgets everywhere. It’s more about the books, the chalk, and the teachers trying to get through the syllabus. People in the 605108 area know us well. We’ve had siblings from the same families come through here year after year. It’s just a regular school where we do our work and hope the kids learn something useful for their futures.
