Selvam Agencies

We are based in the Maragatham Apartments over in the Ellai Pillai Chavady area. It is a bit different running an agency out of an apartment building, but it gives the whole place a very local and friendly feel. We use the Sf 1 space primarily for our administrative work and for handling the distribution side of the business. It is a small operation, mostly just a few of us sitting around desks and making sure the supplies get to the shops and people that need them. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which is nice for getting our work done without having too much distraction from the street. We do not have a big warehouse attached directly here, so it is mostly about managing the flow of goods and keeping our records straight. Sometimes the neighbors from the other apartments come by for a quick chat, and it feels more like a community than a cold business office. We have our daily routine: we check the morning orders, call up the suppliers, and then sort out the delivery schedules for the afternoon. The office space is a bit tight because of all the ledgers and various product samples, but we have organized it so we know where everything is. It is a simple setup without any extra bells or whistles. We have been part of this area for a while now and we like the way things work. There is no big corporate ladder, just the daily task of making sure everything is taken care of.
